Cool. Figure 8's can't go to full SW.
It's believed that the green spotted puffer needs to be in full marine as they get older.

Do you mind the aiptasia in your tank? It doesn't bother any corals?

Nice growth. Wait until you look back at those pics a few years from now and see how small some of the corals were and how much they have grown.
Hope you dont mind my posting two of my toadstool. Just a idea of how big they can grow. It was a little learger than a quarter when I got it and now it is over a foot across.

Skyfire, what is that red stuff growing on your rock? If it's dark red I have some growing even on my hermit's shell and have no idea what it is. Do you know?
I also see you have some aiptasia :(

Hate it just got a peppermint shrimp...hope it does the trick and survives long enough to do so....I've tried boiling water, vinegar, boiling vinegar and such to limited luck but seems to get more afterward. The peppermint in the nano got rid of all the aipastia in it but is impossible to catch.

Nice growth, how long did it take?
It took 4 months for the dime sized piece to get to where it is today.

Unfortunately it's most likely cyano :-[, though I do have some darker red corralline...still trying to get that blasted cyano under control have reduced it and the growth rate by limiting feeding a bit more, though I still feed everyday due to the mandarins.
I think more rock would help but will be adding base rock when the aipastia is gone. I don't want more rock for it to infest and hide in.

Yup next step if the peppermint doesn't take a liking to it.

Borrowed a good camera and got this shot of the Chalices growth.

The coral tissue was even with the frags cut when I got it.

It's just about smack dab in the middle of the tank with 2 evo 750's pointed toward the center/bow one slightly up the other slightly down.
The evos are on the back wall towards the top.
