Dr. G's Phytoplankton is very much alive. I've seen it under a microscope when a rep. was pitching it to LFS. I know alot of people who use it and love it. I can't seem to find it on web maybe it's too new?

With that being said, live phytoplankton must be kept refrigerated and still only has a shelf life of about 2 months, so don't over stock.

I will occasionally feed my corals using a syringe (no needle, just a squeezy tube) directly to their mouths. It's been working great and nothing bad came from it, so I suppose it's fine =)

Brine shrimp most of the time.

I've got them in frozen cubes, but, I'll take a cup of water directly from my tank and dissolve them into it. Then take my syringe and suck em up. Then feed :)

I understand not everybody would choose this method. But it works great for me, and is very easy and convenient.
