Coral dying?

    it used to look like this

    Do they shrink sometimes and come back again.
    My parameters are fine and im a little worried?

    Yes they do shrink. They change the water in themselves this way and it can help them clean the outside. If you have not changed the water parameters or dosing lately they should be OK. Just check to see if they are putting out feeder tentacles. You may have to wait until one hour after lights out to check. Good luck.

    They don't look so good but they could just be changing out thier water

    The corals do inflate and dis inflate, but what are your paras?

    They are putting out feeder tentacles at night and i found a couple vermited snails on the acan around the parameter of the coral. Could these be the reason they are not expanding properly? I have heard you can smash the shell on these snails and it will kill them, is this true.? But i havent found any of these vermited snails on the others?

    ill try to get some closer pics, but i only have a 6 megapixel camera and it doesnt do zoom shots well. ill try though?

    I'd look into some different bulbs or better yet better lighting P/C have never been worth much from day one as for keeping any corals other then a few softs like leathers and such and you have to have the coral really up under the light source very close ot some 96w with good bulbs with a little distance .

    ??? i dont get it they were doing so well for a couple months?

    Its the lighting P/C will keep very few coral species at.
