    Most can expand their flesh when in good condition almost to the extent of acans.

    I have a Chalice that gives me headaches. Bright red in color and is a beautiful coral. However, he does NOT do well under my halides. When he was under direct light he did nothing but lose tissue. He is now under a rock ledge on the sand bed and only half exposed to light. Growing like a weed. Maybe its just me but these guys do not like a lot of light.

    I have no idea if this would help but try running carbon for a few days and see if that helps.. I had issues with some corals in the lower part of my tank and could not figure out what was wrong.. After testing and water changes I could not make anything look better, so I ran carbon and in a few days everything started to look better.

    I hope this helps.


    btw I never found out what was wrong but everything is looking great still.
