I dip all my new corals in Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure before introducing them into my tank and use the dip whenever I see tissue necrosis.

For Zoa's we use Brightwell's Lugol's iodine. We used several recipes but mostly I go by the color of the dip water. In a white bucket the water looks like really weak tea. I start with saltwater, but if I feel I have a real nudi problem then I'll Lugol in freshwater. Leave them in for about 10 minutes, then blow with baster and shake vigorously.

For SPS we use CoralRx for 5 - 10 minutes. I used to use Lugol's but some of the SPS tended to absorb some of the iodine coloring and it took some time for the original coloring to come back. CoralRX is basically clear.

You could use CoralRX on everything, but if you have a lot of zoa's to dip Lugol's is way more economical.
