Hey guys, I've been wondering which is indeed the most common color of a coral. Not including mixed coloration, just one color in general that most corals tend to be at the LFS.

IME, green tends to be the most common, anyone agree?

I was going to say pink...but when i look at my tank, besides the obvious neon colors (open brain and such) there is mostly pink softies.

I see a lot of brown. But it's not usually the natural colour of the coral. :)

there is a lot of Red as well with red mushrooms, Red brain, Red ricordia ,red Blasto, and red Acans

Jason you just reminded me of my ricordias! After the t-5hos came on their orange and blue colors came alive. Ricordias are awsome.

Dangit, I forgot to add brown! Nice catch Jason, brown does tend to be common and somewhat un-attractive, but the beauty of the corals make me look beside the coloration. Of course, because you are building a tank to your liking and space is limited, coloration is a major factor in choosing corals to add to your tank.
