Copepods-where to start?

    You just add them to the tank, but a mandarn could literally eat a bottle per day. That's far too much to add from a financial perspective. You really want to set up a fuge, or forget about keeping a mandarin.

    I agree with Blackraven. Mandarins are a huge committment feeding-wise, especially in a small tank with no fuge. Many mandarins die of starvation in this manner.

    i had one when i had my 40 gallon reef tank set up and even with a large amount or LR and feeding it still was starving without a steady supply set up in a fuge or sump. i ended up taking mine back to the store so it wouldnt die.
