I have the profilux controller and despite it's sticker price I've found it to be quite reasonable. Mainly do to the fact I was able to sell all my other controlling devises

Here is what I'm controling
-AI LED lighting (controls the 3 different coloured LED) will control moon light depending on the moon cycle
- Skimmer air and feed pump
- Tunze wave maker
- PH monitor
- SG meter
- ATO
- Dosing of CA, Alk and MG
- can measure ORP but I need a new prob
- Can control Koralia power heads
- Can control Vortech pumps
- can run a web server
- e-mail warnings

It can do a ton more, like most controller. I'm not trying to sell the Profilux just pointing out when I'm using for mine. Other controllers can do the same

 

That does seem like the unit to get, yet the price range is nearly double that of its competitors. Do you think it is worth it ie. Vortech is to Koralia?

 

Yes it appears to be more money. But they often have starter packages on sale

Thats the controller i wanted but didnt wanna shell out the cash so i pick up a reef keeper lite plus and it is one of the best things that i have done for my system.
