Still workin' on it. When I started this thread in April, it was really just an idea. I am getting things together now.

I looked it up yesterday and it's only like $20 to register(in Ohio) for a sole proprietorship or an LLC.

Cool, I just want you to get started, cuz these stands look amazing! I love the modern look. Will they all be finished in high gloss white? What about the front, is it glass?

Well obviously I have a market on 3reef. lol. I was thinking about a metal front, the same look as stainless steel appliances. But a tinted glass would be neat too. I would like the white to me a matte finish, white paint, but with a lacquer spray over of the paint. This will give it the smoothness and sheen similar to a piano - very shiny - and quite reflective.

There is still a lot to get done. I need to get in contact with a lawyer for legal purposes, and look into a loan and a shop, ect, ect. I could see this going big, fast.

What would be a good name to describe the company other than "aquarium design" ? I want something more specific.

At the request of Panfish, here is the framing to one of the aquarium stands. Looking upward you can see torsion box, with the bottom panel not shown. This is what the inside of a torsion box looks like. There would be one at the top as well as one in the base of this aquarium stand. Walls and cabinet door wood be 0.5" poplar.

I will not be offering the all white stand that was pictured on this page.

Check out the 2 lines of tanks that will be available when we start up. The dimensions shown on the Edge and Blueridge stands are for 120g tanks. But other sizes should be available by then too.
