Compact Fluorescent light?

    IMO Compact flourescent aren't very good. For the same price you can get a T5 fixture. T5 run cooler and are stronger than CF. The T5 bulbs are cheaper and last longer.

    +1 What Clonefarmer said and to add, a T-5 with individual reflectors will focus the light much better, so, you will need much lower total Watts and therefore use a lot less electricity. Also, you will get away with fewer, which is less electricity and less expense in yearly bulb replacements (note: as clonefarmer said, the bulbs will also last a bit longer and seem to be cheaper these days :) ).

    To compare the two fixtures, the power compact will be better. The best option would be to go with a 4 to 6 bulb t5 light, 2 t5 bulbs just doesn't cut it.

    You'll get better light spread from the PC light than the Nova. I have had both. The Nova is ehh unless you replace all the bulbs. Which would knock it out of your budget.
