Clownfish Fry Raising Journal Update 05/24/12

Of all the crazy places - I've been able to find them at the dollar stores. The ones at petsmart or petco cost around $10 and you are lucky if you can find one.

Since we're expecting another hatch tonight thought I'd take a quick video of our fry that hatched on the 10th. All are doing well.

Hey everyone,
It's been awhile so I thought it was time for an update. We finished the system for our pairs finally!
We've also been selling our babies which has been exciting and fun for us! Our next move is to get the fry system a few more tanks. I'll update more with that when we're finished.
I'm also excited a friend of our's is giving us his maroons who are currently laying egg's. They'll be a great new edition!

Well after 3 years we are taking a break. 3 years and about 3000 babies we need a break. From raising the rotifers, raising the brine shrimp, add more tanks, catching the fry every two weeks it has been fun and also a lot of work...We will get back to it sometime in the future, but for the mean time it is great not having to see bucket after bucket of rotifers and newly hatched brine shrimp...Hope you are having as much fun as we did raising the fry, Tropical Addict
