how can u tell the sex of a clown fish like male or female?
if you have an adult pair the bigger one is usually the female
Yep. Its pretty tough otherwise. I think it might be impossible but not entirely sure.
kk ty i got 1 small one and ne big one
Hmmm...as stated earlier, in a bonded pair the bigger is normally the female. However, in a single fish, I would go out on a limb to say it's a female. The tough thing is, clownfish can change sexes. If two males pair up, one will become the female. I'm not sure if that's true, but it gives you the idea on them changing sexes. I don't really know much about single clownfish bonding social practices
As stated, the larger one is usually the female. The female tends to be lighter in color as well.
If kept singularly, a clownfish will remain without sex. Being, its neither male or female. Only when paired do they change. A clownfish has the ability to go back and forth between male and no sex, but once its female, it stays female for life.
kk well the bigger ones liter then my lil guy maybie they will hav eggs to feed my mandrin goby and them selves
hahaha, that sounded really funny. FREE FOOD!
Mandarin fish don't eat clown fish eggs. They only eat copepods and amphipods. Also, I doubt that the clownfish will eat their own offspring.
well clown fish will eact there own offfspring FOR SURE if u dont take them out. i did not now a mandrin woadnt i see him pick at things on my rocks ALL DAY
