brine shrimp, while good.. Isn't near as good as mysis shrimp, etc..
Fish love brine shrimp, but it's low in all the good stuff for fish..
But as long as he's eating anything is good.. Mine are very picky eaters..
    Hows his color doing now..?

One of my friends had one start doing this and the lfs said it was a start of tail rot and the other clown was "knocking it off and making fun" So idk what you guys think. Theyll lose color in there fins and then like turn pale pale.

The clownfish looks fine when he eats and no longer tucks himself under the torch. However I do notice that most of his color lost has been in its fins, and it still hangs out in one spot most of the time.

Did your friends clown fish die?

No, he gave him some sort of medicine and separated him from the other clown. I really dont know now but i think yours might just be struggles of sex determination.

loss of color is due to the stress weather or not it be new tank stress or water parameter stress. What are your paramters? If dominece game ends clown may return back to normal. If paramiters are out of wack then you may have a bigger problem. 2 clowns in a 12 maybe a bit too many fish also.

To be honest I am fairly new to the hobby, and was told by the LFS that they would do fine in a 12 gallon tank. Right now I would say each fish is barely under an inch and the LFS told me once they out grew the tank, if healthy i could bring them back for credit. If to many fish is the case, I have two other specimens in my tank which are a firefish goby and a cleaner shrimp.

Last time I tested the water I only tested PH and Nitrates. PH was in the 8.0-8.2 range and Nitrates were at 10. I will be doing another test tom since I just cleaned the tank today.

Ill post pictures of my tank tom, and open to advice!
