Ok eggs still in the aquascape cave. Just now the anemone is overhanging the entrance as to its protecting it. Pretty neat.

Last night I did manage to grab 14 eggs with a turkey baster and put them in their own QT container. We'll see how it goes. I have an airstone running to provide air.

I hate to say it but those eggs you took out are more than likely going to die and the parents might eat the rest of the eggs.If they even think something is wrong with the eggs they will eat them.If you can't remove what the eggs were laid on then in a situation like yours in your reef tank it is best to let the parents take care of them till hatch night.
Sorry not trying to crush your efforts. Congrats-you have a pair of proven breeding clownfish.Good luck.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    doylef4i, is absolutely right.

Getting the eggs out of the tank or capturing the hatch takes practice. And the male will eat them if you even look at them wrong.

If you would like more detailed information regarding clownfish breeding and rearing of fry just let us know and I can stear you in the direction of some good links and such.

Once they start lying if the conditions are right they will do so often and routinely. Males usually eat the first lay anyway.

    :)
