    I would unplug it and give it a little bit to see if it clears up. It cant hurt to try.

    do you run any type of filter bag or pad? what type of sand bed do you have? maybe a PH stirring it up?

    A filter pad or bag will help remove small particals in the water. Some people do not run them at all some are religous about running them. I am about 50/50. If I start seeing anything floating in the water I will put the socks in to help remove them. when it clears up I take them out. Thats just how I do it. others may do it differently.

    i think i will try that use a bag and remove it as it clears up so i dont have to worry about forgetting to change it.

    i also have a live sb that is about 3" deep. 120lbs

    it has cleared up since i got home but that may be just me hoping its clearing up. it is still cloudy.
