    Needs more resolution.

I see what you're talking about, but I can't see them clearly enough when I zoom in for detail. Do you have a larger format?

I'm thinking their either tips of a baby ball tip 'nem, or small algae strings. Neither would really concern me.

Hope this helps, I think its algae. It's also on the right side too.

It looks to be all around the plug. I think it is algae.

Agree with this now that I can see a slightly larger version (thanks!).

    Hold the press guys!!!!

The coral is growing over a vermetid snail!!! After looking at the picture and the coral I see the little bugger dead center.

That would most likely be it, right??

Mmm, I saw that before, but it appears to me that's a separate issue.

Boicube, I have a cluster of these things myself......I could'nt ever get a clear picture of them so I just kept my eye on it. The small drumstick like looking things form a sort of circle, and sort of close up and open with the day. Very slow, almost going with the flow, and filtering. Not any kind of duster, or Nem, but if you zoomed in on a spore of some kind, this is what you'd see. From what I can tell, they haven't made any harm, it's been 8 months now, and the most it's done is moved around in a 2 inch area.

I should probably explain what I did to my tank today to help.

I did a water change and there were a lot of bubbles in my tank when I turned my pumps back on.

I think it might be a combo of Arco slime with micro bubbles along with the snail catching bubbles...

    Is this even possible?
