Yep very familiar with Widener. Anyway, have any thoughts on that fish list?

Yeah, fish look nice, all smaller species tho. Wanted something larger but i guess finding reef safe fish is tough!

That angel thread is confusing me lol!

Yea, I noticed that too. You may be able to get a smaller species of tang, but as you know your hippo has to go at some point. Thats the one advantage of a fish only tank. You can get big/ small/ pretty much anything as long as they are compatible with each other. With corals, it wipes out about 1/2 your options, but personally I prefer it.

Do tell what the drawbacks to hermits are. I have several in my 75 and it seems to be working out well so far. Anything i need to be looking for?

    Heres a good start:

Surgeonfish: Tang Fish, Yellow Tangs and other Surgeons

These are all tangs that require a minimum tank size smaller or comparable to yours. You just have to look some of them are aggressive towards other tangs, so you may want to get rid of your hippo before getting one if that is your choice.

seems as though tangs should be kept singly in a tank my size. doesnt look too promising adding another tang

hence why he politely suggested getting rid of the hippo! I know ya love him, but prob gonna cause ya more of the same problems in the future!
