    i just bought a T5 HO and thinking about get a clam now, i know there are clams that require moderate to high lighting (T. squamosa, T. derasa, H hippopus and T. gigas.) and would like to know, would this light be classified as mod to high lighting.

    I have clams living under t5ho lamps without reflectors. I did just order a new nova extreme with individual reflectors. One of my blue corceas lost a little color, but all have good growth. I have a squamous 22 inches aways from it and it grows alot.

    with the money you saved on your lights you can get a few clams ;)

    Really? You have a thriving clam 22" away from it? Cool. I like to hear that.

    i had a Crocea in my 2.5 mini reef with pc's for over a year and it did great with lots of growth, i did not supplement anything either :)
