    So instead of gettting new bulbs, i just bought a used sunpod 150w. I believe this should be enough for a clam now. Am I correct? Im even noticing bad green algae starting to go away bc of the bad quality of my old lights.

    I think a 150w halide is plenty for a 29g.

    agreed. should be able to grow just about anything you want now. just make sure to stay up on mh replacement bulbs every 9-12 months.

    I didnt realize how strong this bulb is. My monti coral started to bleach.

    raise the light fixture, lower the corals, and cut back on your lighting cycle for now.

    I cant raise it anymore. I just lowered them bc they havent attached to any live rock yet. How long does that take?

    I usally glue them to the rock. but I would cutback 2hrs on your mh light cycle and slowly over next 2 weeks raise the time back up.
