Hi my cleaner shrimp keeps digging away at my new clam. The clam seems fine so i cant tell if hes cleaning him or eating him. Ive had the clam for about a week now and he looks perfect. Has anyone had issues with cleaner shrimps and clams?

There's a good chance some food got into the clam and the shrimp is just eating it out. I haven't heard of a skunk cleaner shrimp eating a clam. My cleaner hasn't touched my clam, although if there is food to be had, he will find it and go after it.

Probably some food on the clam. Cleaner shrimp are 100% reef safe as far as I know, but mine are always pulling frozen shrimp off of my LPS when I try to spot feed them.
