    My hippopus clam is loosing tissue I have had it for about two weeks and it has been doing great. Then this morning g it didn't looking g to good.

    Do you mean it lost it's foot?

    Is it gaping?

    Is the tissue pulling away from the mantle?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Unfortunately not much can be done for that clam, hard to say for sure from the images but it looks bleached as well. Was it in the rock work or on the sand bed? Hippo like the sand bed much like Derasa.
