    i got 3 watts per gallon of high intenceitiy 50/50 PC lights!

    I'm 14 and and trust me....Its hard unless you own a RO unit, or live close to an lfs.

    the clam will be sucking calicum at a rate of 50ppm/day...im gunna go with "its a REALLY bad idea".

    kudos for you for doing this ar 10, im 15 and it is sometimes too much i spend every bit of money i get on this stuff. lol just dose calcium like once a week or so to keep it up and you should be fine for a clam. i would put it up high on the rock work as well so it gets the required light.

    Get a cheap toms aqualifter dosing pump off ebay and connect it to a drip valve. Just put a bucket of kalk connected to one end. That's what I did for my 5 gallon

    if the clam is healthy and growing, kalk probably won't keep up. At least unless you have a heck of a lot of evaporation.

    Yeah scrap the clam get a flame scallop.
