I came home tonight to find my BTA has found a new spot. Unfortunatly it's almost ontop of my Clam. What should I move the BTA or the Clam. or can they stay that close together (not likely). I'm worried if I move the BTA it will move to the back of the tank. but I'm also worried about moving the Clam and stressing him out or even damaging him in the move.

    Any Thoughts would be great.

    Thanks
    J

Well my Clam had completely closed up, so I thought I'd move it. When I did it was very secure to the rock and when it did release it left thread like fleshy bits behind. Did I just kill my clam?

As I arrived home today, the first thing I did is check the clam. It has opened very well and seems to be happy. The rock were the clam was is showing no signs of the thread like "foot" and there really wasn't much there so it may have been just the byssal threads.
