Chiller needed for one 250w MH?

    There is no way to tell other than what your temps fluctuate now and high they already get. Each system is different and it all goes by total heat input and total system heat output. MH does not equal chiller. I had two n my 90g and no chiller, but I had low heat input and good output. There is no way to tell if yours will or will not.
