That's the same tank I was looking to buy for my next build in the future.

The lights are unboxed and up! I decided to go with the tank mount instead of hanging them. They look awesome. I can't believe how thin they are! Sadly I cannot plug them in yet :(

Tomorow I commence to paint the back black. I am unreasonably worried that I will screw it up. It's soooo pretty now.

Sand and salt and new RODI with integrated booster pump will arrive from foster and smith this week. I can't believe it is free shipping on over 200 lbs of stuff.

I think this is now officially my build thread.

You should look into using window tint instead of paint

Well, today I painted the tank using craft acrylic paint. After doing research (actually looking at YouTube videos) it was the easiest to apply and remove. It looks slick.

On Wednesday the electrician is coming! Yay! Right now I can't plug in the tank.

What heater do I buy? I guess I need 300 watts for the tank. I don't want to spend too much money, but I don't want to cheap out, either. Can anyone make recommendations?
