    JEWELS IN THE STREAM

    Just added this short macro-video of some new additions to the tank gathered on a recent snorkel...some new color variations not seen before.... it always surprises me the huge color range these jewels are capable of!

    its pics like that those that just keep me going. every time i start to think of giving up on my reef tank (before i even really have it started) i just see ppl that post these beautiful pics and just re inspires me all the more and gives me that resolve to push forward and just so i can see the beauty of the reef in my computer room.

    Awesome tank! I have never seen a tank like this one. I have collected off of the FL Keys and it is a lot of fun and rewarding. Unfortunately I do not live on part of the coast that I can bring back unruly specimen. I have collected Sargassum fish,pipefish,blennys, and sun coral on Louisiana oil rigs. I wish I could collect more but we have to take our boat at least 60 miles(96 kilometers) before there are reef inhabitants which gets very very expensive. New Zealand from what I've heard sounds like an awesome place. It is on my bucket list of places to go for sure.

    Jewel anemones flourescing at night.

    Here's a recently collected group of Jewel Anemones...they flouresce at night under Blue LED's...their daytime colour is Pink / Orange!
