Hmmm i don't want to be picky here - but i always thought algae released oxygen and absorbed CO2?

    Visual update

Here is 4 pictures that I took of the refugium. After the first picture I scraped off the glass to get a better look. Can anybody out there tell me how it's looking? I'm new to the refugium so all this can be a little scarry. Things are really growing in there. My gosh I can't beleive what's happened in only about two weeks since I put the cheato in there. You can see the grape culerpa and red slime is building. I've been keeping the lights on reversed cycle. I'll take any feedback you have out there. Thanks.:)

    Update on fuge

Things just seam to keep growing in the fuge and it's scarry. I hope the red slime doesn't go into my display tank.
Question: Should I cut back the grape culerpa or trim up the fuge? It's getting ugly. I threw in an aquacultured Florida Live Rock in there.
