It's a Reef Brite halide lamp. The Kessil has done awesome for everything I've tried under it from acros to chalice. Best metal halide mimicking LED I've played with yet. That's what I suspect. Either that or it's one of the many unknown factors that we can't completely comprehend. The Kessil pieces are hands down better in person. The light blue is a toxic green in person. I need to point a real camera at them soon. That picture was taken under full white light though. I think it would be hard to deny that the lights are playing a major role in it, but I do suspect that there's larger swings in the halide system with certain parameters. I'm working to correct that now to see if that changes anything.
