Chaeto in a small box inside tank?

    Yea I had two fish in the tank for about two weeks before I put the chaeto in come to think of it.

    So I would let some snails work on it but if you're just starting the tank wait a bit on the Chaeto.

    LOL. I hear ya. I highly recommend the Aqua-C too (currently have several), and also say stay away from the Sea-Clone (had that POS before the Aqua-C).

    Just an update on the chaeto, it's only the second full day since I put it in the tank and i already see a difference!

    That's great! :) I should see a big improvement on mine then. :) The tank's not doing too good in the fight against algae.

    They might have it. You'd have to ask. Some people(fellow reefers) sell it on the FS board here on the forum. You can also order it from Reef Cleaners.org

    Personally, for chaeto, I would ask dingo if he has any. The species he has is different from the average chaeto. It's much thicker and more rigid that the chaeto I've seen elsewhere, which makes it better suited, especially for "box-in-tank" and higher flow (HOB fuge) applications.
