when it poops, all the mouths poop in unison

lights off, just actinics and I sat there and watched the coral equivelent of a 21 gun salute

Real nice, interesting piece, but this does bring me to another question: Are all corals that cheap for you over there?

That is an awsome piece and is something I'd definitely want to buy...lucky you that it's was so cheap as well.

A little TMI with the whole 21 gun salute thing...LOL...interesting to know though...I guess.

I've seen my Lobo Radiata do this a few times. All mouth/butts at once...

Thanks evolved - in general yes and most corals I can pick up cost less than 20 bucks , SPS frags for example Im paying between 10 and 15 for depending on the store and size of frag
the notable exception are the Aussie scollys like the bleeding apple
I was asked for 1500 rmb when I enquired about price on one of those
so when you consider I am paying 80 rmb for an SPS frag, I figured "Its nice but it is not 20 times nicer than any of the other corals I can pick today."

Thanks SkyFire - this is the 1st mutli mouthed LPS coral I have had
I saw it and despite having kept Elegance, Torch, Hammer and Bubbles before - seeing this multi exit of waste at the same time, surprised me.

Coral is getting better and better

the tips/ tentacles are now getting some yellow colour in them
but the difference is very subtle and thus not easily captured on camera

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks healthier than the first picture of it, more inflated with noticeable improvement in color.

Are all those little white rings mouths? Because that is a lot of mouths.

It is one weird looking corals, in a good way though.;)
