    Is it just me, or did anybody else using this substrate notice that GHA seems to grow specifically on the small black (volanic?) pebbles mixed throughout the sand? I've had my tank going for about a year now, and ocassionally have outbreaks of GHA which always seems to start on these black pebbles.
