Matt Rogers (Kingfish) had a thread a few months ago on adding an airstone to the fuge. Seems it worked very well at preventing nuisance algaes from settling on and smothering his chaeto, and provided better circulation through and around the chaeto for more efficient nutrient export.

    Just something to consider... :)

This is right on! Just remember, pellets won't activate and start working 4-6 weeks from starting so you will have to dose waste away weekly till the pellets activate.

The main thing I saw, was that your tank is 2 months old.

At that stage, I didn't 'run' or use anything, did some water changes, reduced light, and as others said, it went away.

Ik but I hate eye sores. I'll reduce my light and turn my uv stunner strip off and try using a little vin. I have gfo and skimmer running now

    HHmmmmm Impatient you are, HHmmm

J/K, I'm sure whatever measures you choose will work out OK, and with your good housekeeping (husbandtry) skills, I'm sure your tank will look great in no time, hand in there.

The vin a bad idea or what
I think I'm going to give it a month with lowering lights running skimmer and gfo. Before I take drastic measure i think part of my nitrate prob stems from part of my CuC may have died and maybe in places I can't find or see that's why I want to use waste away
