Unresolved cant figure out what going on nitrates are up so are trites and ammonia

so i checked my tank today the tank is a 55 and is about 5-6 months old when i checked it i noticed that my ammonia was up to .50 ppm and my nitrites were at .25 ppm and my trates which concerned me the most are at 80ppm, and ive been battleing the trates cant find what causeing it to stay so high for the past couple weeks. i mean all my snails hermit and my one anemone are doing fine all my fish are doing fine. i did a 20% water change to try and lower the trates today but they still are high.

im using only liverock and have a skimmer pulling stuff out seems to pulling out a decent amount of gunk a day


i just dont know did my tank decide it wanted to do a mini cycle i didnt move anything around in it to disrupt it.
and its a FOWLR tank
should i wait awhile after this water change test again or do another 20% water change in a day or so

How many and what kind of fish do you have in there?

 

2 ocellaris clownfish, 1 domino damsel, 2 blue damsel, 2 black yellow damsel, 2 striped damsel, 2 talbot's damsel

 

i was feeding twice a day but i think im going to pull back to once a day or possibly feed twice a day everyother day

 

I'm interested in answers on this one.....

 

When did you add the last fish and how many was that.
