candy cane?

    Mine came growing on kinda roundish rocks and the ones that are facing down away from the light are dying, but the ones not "in the shade" are doing great, at least they look healthy to me. I have them near the top of my tank. Anything else I should do to help them fuse? Should I be target feeding them anything?

    from my understanding tango , no target feeding is necessary. with their feeder tentacles they should grab enough nutrients through the water. you could use phytoplankton maybe once a month to add to whats in your water.

    I'm pretty sure that candy canes don't eat phyto so if you're going to feed them, some ground up meaty food would be better.

    Yeah. Mine love prime rib and pork chops. Rack of lamb occasionally, but it must be rare. (J/K)
