    I bought this frag today and i failed to ask the name of this. It has been in the tank for about 30 mins.

    Not my expertise, but probably safe to say it's some kind of Acropora. Maybe purple tip or tortuosa.


    Tisk, tisk... you are supposed to find this stuff out before you buy something.  ;)

    Well that would be the normal way to do it right? lol After I saw the color I was sold. I also bought a couple other things with this. Hopefully I will remember next time to ask the name. ::)

    Yes, I have it in my 55g. I have 175 mh with pc actinics. It will eventually be moved to our new tank. Then it will be under 250 mh's.

    That is one of my Fav Arcos. Does it have green polyps?

    They look more yellow to me but I guess they do have a little bit of a greenish color. They were not out in that pic.
