    I really hope that it isn't a flesh eating monster seeing as I pulled some of it off of the rock last night with my bare hands lol.

    This looks like a type of tube worm to me, but I'm not sure.

    it looks like a sponge to me...and the tube worm is a feather duster from what i can see. i love the red FD's i have a rock in my biocube covered with them!

    I thought they might be Feather Dusters, but i wasn't sure. They just started appearing about 2 weeks ago and were really small. I have had the bigger Feather Dusters since I added the LR to my tank. The red ones are really cool. They are on at least two of my rocks now.
