We all know that Chemi Pure makes your water wet, that is if you use it in an inTank Media Basket

But is it possible for your water to be even wetter????

Well the gang and Boyd Enterprises think so! Introducing Chemi Pure Blue

Chemi-pure Blue is specially created for fantastic results in reef and marine aquariums. The new proprietary blend of premium, low-dust pelletized carbon and high capacity ion-exchange resins are skillfully combined to created a superior all-in-one filter media in a nylon bag. Chemi-pure Blue significantly reduces organic compounds and phosphates while raising redox and helping stabilize pH for a healthy, crystal clear aquarium.

It comes in two sizes prepackaged in convenient mesh bags:

    11 oz

I just started running it in my reef. I picked some up at reefapalooza. I love the low dust carbon. Previous chemipure was just to dusty for my tank.

So far so good. It rinsed clean in about 30 seconds and I have no dust at all collecting in my filter or skimmer.

I use regular chemi pure.. I just rinsed it out in RO till the black dust was at a minimum before I put it in my sump.

I would rinse original chemipure constantly and always had particles that accumulated in the tank and skimmer. I couldn't deal with that. I'm happy to see they made a product designed for marine only.

instead of GFO for phosphates. it looks like it uses aluminum oxide instead by the picture. can anyone confirm that?
