can i run an etss 600 without a sump?

    starting a new set up 75 gal reef. wanted to run an etss600 without a sump can it be done.?.....if a ran an Eheim 2227 wet/dry canister filter w/ 50lbs+ live rock....3" live sand bed....would this setup prove successfull. any other ideas of sumpless set ups Please help

    I assume you already have the Ehiem then?
    Is that why you don't want a sump?
    The 'Terminator' skimmer can run without a sump. There is a thread on this board about it.
