    hey guys

    just wanting everyones thoughts..........

    iv got a pistol shrimp and skunk shrimp in the same tank, thinkin about getting the banded shrimp is that a good idea??? Iv got a feeling its gona be no but thought id ask

    my tank is the river reef 94

    I would say no, only because coral banded are mean and could eat the other shrimp and just are not that great IME. but there are a ton of other ones that are better and that will work in you tank sorry if I bumed you out.

    maybe get a crab instead :)

    LOL a porcelin crabs is one of the coolest and comes in great marbling colors ;D

    I have a Skunk, Pistol, Peppermint, and Fire all in my 72 w/o problems.

    I would say NO on the CB though, they are aggressive and my fire shrimp is slightly aggressive toward the skunk fyi.

    May have been a pre-emptive strike, but when I introduced a CB into my tank with a skunk cleaner, the cleaner jumped on it's back and totally shredded the poor guy as soon as he hit bottom.

    Of course I was told by the LFS that they would get along... :angry:
