She already got her diamond ring on Feb 4th. I really wanted to put the ring in the tank but I didn't want to walk on thin ice. ;)

    Nah, def not that.

Protoreaster linckii grows to a maximum diameter of 12 inches. It has numerous tubercles located along its five arms. These tubercles are bright red and extend upward from the arms. It has a gray body with stripes that connect the tubercles. This creates an appearance of a grid made of interconnecting wires.

I was under the impression if a star fish has "thorns" then it's typically not a good choice in a reef tank. Also it looks like it can and will reach 8 inches in size, that's pretty big for a BC. I'd like to show the lady this star but before I get her excited I'd like to know what you all think before I do.

It could get that big, not sure. I bought it from a very trusted shop, guy has been in the business for 30 years. Ive had it for probably 2 months and for the most part he is on the glass...rarely gets on the rocks. Maybe its because I keep him fat and happy in his normal spot!

We liked a HawkFish in the beginning too & were talked out of it...
Saw a Red Spotted Sand Perch a few weeks later & came home with him!
Very FUN to watch! HUGE personality!!! Reef safe! Doesn't eat the tankmates (I HAVE seen him pluck a little hermit while naked & changing shells tho!) But 1 little hermit crab is WELL worth the entertainment this guy has brought! He's hilarious! ;D
    Red Spotted Sand Perch (blenny)
We bought him as a perch blenny - but he is NOT a blenny.
DEF worth looking into! We have ZERO complaints! He's best buddies with our peppermint shrimp too! Those 2 are as tight as our yellow watchman & Pistol!
    Good luck!

i like the personality of my diamond goby, you can sometimes spot him under a rock just looking at you with his dumb face, he thinks he is invisible when clearly he isnt....fool...
