Can I get a star fish? Fiancée wants one.

Personally I think the hawkfish would be fine around your cleaner. Most predators leave cleaners alone since they are beneficial.
Maybe just do a search around the web and see what else she likes. Do a lot of YouTube watching, as personality is something you can see there and not on pictures.
Here are some suggestions I can think of:
Small dwarf angels
Jawfish
Blennies
I'll post more if I think of anything else.

This is quite true provided the predator in question is from the same region were the cleaner lives. Otherwise it would have no way of identifying it as such.

 

Vinny, thanks for the perchlet suggestion. I'm adding that to my 140 fish list since I want a hawk but not the trouble. We'll be doing small fish in the tank.

 

Here's my star, he is reef safe and never had a problem with him doing anything bad. I direct feed him cyclopeze every other day (most of the time). Someone else can id him because I forgot the name
