    I wish I would have red this before splicing.....it does seem to be easier and much faster to split down the middle, even safer. Alas, the cutting is already done, but good news is they are as hardy and resilient as everyone says, both top halves are already encircling and the base has already covered it's open mouth getting ready to form a new head. Thank you for the input though, I think I'll propagate like that next time, split down the middle

    well as of yesterday I fraged the shroom. to be honest I was a little freaked out about the whole thing I never have fraged anything before and it was nerve racking.

    I only cut it in half and figured if it lives i'll try for more next time.

    I removed it from the orgional plug and it left a pice on it then I cut the bigger portion in half, these white tubes came out!

    out tll the pices into a petre-type dish that has holes in it for water movment, and did a small H2O change for stability.

    once I get home Ill post pics to let ya'll see how they look today.
