i have a piece of frog spawn and it has branched up toward the light. the piece under the top of the coral was doing great until the piece on the top got big enough to shade it from the light. the piece on the bottom looks like it is starting to shrink up and die. is there anyway i can cut the bottom piece off without killing it?

    thanks

I did mine as well....it is easy...

Be sure to use a dremel or a saw blade...I tried to use diagonal cutters and I crushed part of the live skeleton. I glued it back together and it is fine now.

Cut as far below the flesh as you can....if you can keep it under a bit of water, all the better. ;D

no, frogspawn is one of the hardest corals in the world to frag. if you try to frag it, there is a high chance that you will get bitten by the frogs that live inside the skeleton. do not attempt this....
