You have to PERFECTLY align the dry and wet side. Turn the constant (green) mode and turn it up all the way up if you can and move the wet side up and down, left and right, twist it if you have to.

I align mine by feeling the vibration, rather than by sound. Virtually all the vibe will go away (which is likely what you're hearing) once it's aligned properly.

I have a BioCube.. I saw somewhere online that I don't need the rubber spacer, I still am using it to prevent any damage but could that be the reason?

Well, you should read the manual from EcoTech and measure the thickness of the glass/acrylic. If it says not to used the spacer, dont.

I followed the directions that came from EcoTech and i shouldn’t say no wave just very small swell compared to my MP60. The MP40 does a amazing job moving water throughout my tank. Its falls a little short on far end opposite side though strength/flow wise in a 4’ tank that is why I purchased a second one that an im upgrading to much larger tank.

Oh OK. The way I got in my 90 was probably an inch I would say. I definitely agree though that on a 4ft tank the flow on the opposite side is lacking.
