    Remember that there are two different types of refractometers you can buy.
    One is the salt water refractometer but the other is seawater refractometer.
    That link to Randy Holmes-Farley's article gives the information I would trust over any other reefer's personal experiences.

    Me too. I've seen it for myself. It's just not cost-effective for me to calibrate with solutions. I would have to charge for it to pay for the solutions. Again, my main issue is consistency Vs. a specific number so if I get their refract close, I'm happy.
