I am making a 110 gal tank reef ready myself and I have a few questions.
I am aiming for 1000gph return so this means 1.5 inch bulkhead and an approx total linear overflow length of 16 inches
I want to go for one centered overflow box would this work efficiently? should I go more GPH or less?
And for the bulkhead I am going to use a Hayward bulkhead Threaded fitting

is this a good one to use? for an 1.5 bulkhead I would need to drill a 2.5inch hole. Also what is the best style to use for a stand pipe?
I was thinking the Durso standpipe style.

    Thx.

I thought 1" PVC provided 600 gph. I might be wrong but pretty sure.
PS- I favor coast to coast overflows, which run the entire length of the tank (on any side)
I would search 3reef, or google as it is sort of hard to explain. GOOD LUCK!
