first off an apology , i dont have access to a camera for this. so no pic yet , but i will try and descibe a best a possible. ive got a "bubble" growing. its not a green oblong type with the bubble algae ive seen. its more a greyish - blue hue to it. and more of a blob. lol. also not transparent either. size wise , comparable to a green olive. i understand if it cant be identified without a pic, but was hoping there were suggestions to what it might be. thnx in advance

    Hi Divott
Based on description a sponge is a possibility

does it appear to have a funnel / opening at one end? as there are also some grey/blue sea squirts / Tunicates

Photo would definitely be a great help

I had something like that in my tank.. I took the rock out and scraped it loose..
Was about the size of a small marble purpleish/greenish..
It was sort of hard.. I take it mine was a bubble type algae ..
I never found but one... Over a couple weeks time. I watched it grow..

Can you tale the piece of rock out, and scrape it off..?
All the way down to the liverock..??

    Good Luck, Larry
