Bubble tip anemone split

    is there an easy way to move an anemone without hurting it? These 3 are close together and one of them is not visible from the front of the tank. I would like to move it more up front, or at least get it to move on it's own.

    That's the number 1 reason I don't keep BTAs. When they split typically they will both find new homes to attach. This tends to be a bad thing for other corals.

    I once set up a 40G tank just for BTAs It would split once ever 2 months and I would sell one. I made a nice little living out of BTA breeding LOL

    They will likely move on their own after a while. Make sure your powerheads are well-protected. You may be able to get them to move by pointing a powerhead towards them. They won't like the really heavy flow. I would only do this if you have coral in danger of getting stung to death from the nem however.
