    I have had my Shortcake for over a year now and it has not colored up yet. I see hints of green and pink but overall it is still a brown blob. It has encrusted but did not start branching yet. I have other acro's that grow like weeds.

    Yeah I'm seeing white tips, but no color except a very small patch of green in the corner where it's encrusting the plug. I do hope it colors up, as the ones that I have seen are gorgeous. Thanks and good to know!

    Yeah, I had some acros that wouldn't color up or grow for 4 months.

    Some SSC are known to just turn A pinkish Red, then a -purple base with Green polyps. lol its weird i have quite a few SSC and there all wacky. Most held there color depending on where they were from.

    I have had a frag for a couple months now. Just pinkish red, no PE, and no signs of growth yet. But I got it for free, so can't complain.

    I'm excited to finally get a true sps marshall.
