I just got an awesome BTA but it had a bunch of orange bristleworms over 1" on its foot. I removed them and added the BTA. The worms are sitting in a bowl of LFS bag water. Should add the worms as detrius eaters or will they just attack my nem and corals? I also have a 55g FOWLR but it does have a few warty nems.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
That is your call, but myself have never had an issue with bristle worms. If it were me I would put them in the sump or tank.

    Congrats the BTA though.

I seriously doubt you will have problems with them. Splitting them between the sump and tank is a good idea.

Are you sure? there were over 7 of them just on its foot. I have 6 that were directly on the foot and the guy brushed off a few before he bagged it

They were not attacking the nem, they were hiding.

Always possible but you would have seen damage to the foot if they were. There is only one species supposedly that attacks and they are very rarely introduced to our tanks.

Okay, I just said what the heck and threw them in already, they burrowed right into the sand(which ive been having a slight cyano problem with).
